Creation Of Folder in Informatica

Please fallow below step by step procedure

• Start programs

• Select -- > Informatica power center X.X

• Select client

• Click on power center repository manager.

• ** we can’t develop any metadata unless we are connected to the repository.

• From repository navigator window

• Select the repository <Repository_name>

• Right click  --> click on connection.

• Enter the user name as <User_Name>

• Enter the password as <Password>.

• Click on connect.

• From folder menu select create

• Enter the folder name: <Folder_name>

• From permissions section select all read, write and execute permissions.

• Click ok

the administrator will create the repository while we install the informatica s/w.
